2020 was a pivotal year for our community. It was a year in which the pace of our walk with Elohim picked up great speed and greater dynamism as we heeded the call to come up here and “Align with the Order of Heaven”.
To give a bit of a background for the benefit of brothers and sisters who are new to this community of Believers and to this platform, every year since 2014, on the instruction of the Elohim, we hold a camp meeting the entire month of February to wait on the Lord and seek his Presence. It is usually a time of lifting and refreshing in His Presence. In February 2020 the Leadership of our community separated themselves to seek Elohim’s face concerning the focus for that year’s camp meeting and the Lord gave them the book of Joshua chapters 5 and 6 as the anchor scriptures and the theme “Aligning with the Order of Heaven” for that years February Meeting. Since that year, the journey of Elohim’s people has taken a “heavenly” dimension, Elohim haven aligned and still aligning us with His heavenly order.
The Inheritance in the Heavens
Joshua chapter 5 and 6 tells the story of the children of Israel at a pivotal point in their journey as well. They had journeyed for 40 years through the desert and the surviving generation had arrived Gilgal, and were met by the Angel of the Lord who was to give them the instructions for breaching the walls of Jericho and possessing the land. During the course of the camp meeting the Holy Spirit told us that we were to receive an inheritance from the Lord but it was only towards the end of the camp meeting that He made us to see and understand that the inheritance we were to receive was in the heavens (this was the reason why the meeting was themed “Aligning with the order of heaven” in the first place).
But why would the Lord choose to give us an inheritance in the heavens while we were still on the Earth? Or was it an inheritance to be accessed after we transit from our Earth experience? Those were some questions that came up when it became clear that this inheritance was actually in the heaven, seemingly out of reach for the undiscerning but which we soon began to see and understand that a spiritual Earthly inheritance is not a at all possible if we do not first gain it in the heavens because heaven rules the Earth.
A new heaven and a new Earth
It pleased the Lord to give us the heaven as an inheritance so that He may establish a new heaven and a new Earth. Isaiah 51:17 tells us “and I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people.” Isaiah 51:17.
Planting a new heaven and a new earth was to become our inheritance in service of Elohim for the nations but we can only do that by understanding the signs of the heavens. In Genesis 1:14, we read, “And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years”. Aligning with the order of Heaven means understanding the seasons (beyond agricultural seasons) and what work the Father is doing and aligning with Him in greater focus, clarity and understanding. A son who will inherit his father’s estate must understand the business of running his father’s estate.
Some of the gains of that meeting include opening of the realm of imagination in us, learning to understand times and seasons of heaven through planetary movements as stated in Genesis 1: 14, establishing the Trading Floor for All Nations at the Trading Floor of Melchizedek and opening of the realm of Daniel.
Joshua 5 and 6 and the 7-day code
Joshua 5 and 6 have since journeyed with us. The 2 chapters are like personalities with us on the journey continually opening up in ways we hadn’t seen before. More recently our eyes have been opened to see that the instructions contained in those chapters are a code with a layer of meaning in which the 7 days march is a code for a 7-year period in which a silent work was to be accomplished in 6 years and the 7th year accomplished by a shout.
In Joshua 6:1-5 we read “Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in. And the Lord said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour. And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus, shalt thou do six days. And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams’ horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets. And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him”.
These are part of the instructions given to Joshua by the Angel of the Lord who led them out of Egypt and into the promised land. The camp of Israel was to march round Jericho in silence for 6 days and on the 7th day, they were to make a shout, blow the rams horn and as the wall of Jericho collapsed, every man was to ascend up, but first, Joshua must “see” that Elohim had given Jericho into his hand. Joshua indeed had spiritual 20-20 vision to see that Jericho had been taken of a truth. It is this 20-20 vision that we also were gifted with since the year 2020 as we aligned with the order of Heaven.
The angel of the Lord went on to detail the bearing of the ark, the arrangement of the armies and all the rest of the instructions which you can read for yourself. What is significant for our current discourse is that the camp was to be silent for 6 days as they march round Jericho. To be silent is to be still, to be quiet, showing us the place of stillness and quietness in these 6 years. Though their feet were on the move, there was to be no conversation or chatter. This they were to do for 6 days. But on the 7th day, the instructions change. Following the shout and the sounding of the ram’s horn, there is to be an ascension of every man. That 7th year brings us to 2027, a year that is heavily pregnant with the purposes of Elohim for humanity. What the year 2027 is pregnant with will have to be a topic for another day.
Today it is understood that the 7 days instruction given to the priesthood in Joshua 5 and 6 are to be understood as a code that unfolds in the course of 7 years. If the 7 days instructions is understood as 7 years, it then means that we are currently on the 5th day of this instruction of silent marching with 2 years left to complete it, falling in 2027. As we sit in silence in meditation, a march is actually going on. Though we may be still, our feet are on an ascension march. This is a brief background to the Pivotal Year 2020, and off course we will always reference the events of that year from time to time.
To end this post, I feel in my heart to leave you with the words of this popular Pentecostal hymn.
“The cloud of glory is moving.
Move with the cloud, move with the cloud.
Let your spirit arise and your strength be renewed;
come on let’s move on together.
Strength you’ll receive as you follow His lead.
Move with the cloud, move with the cloud”.
